The history of Palestinian medicine is a testament to professional resilience and humanitarian dedication. 

From the tireless work of healthcare heroes in Gaza and the West Bank to the scholarly traditions of the Ottoman era to the foundation of the first Palestinian medical faculty at Al-Quds University in 1994, medicine has been a pillar of Palestinian national identity, overcoming geographic fragmentation to establish standards in trauma surgery, public health, and emergency medicine.
